How to configure a $80 file server
Here is a good article about building a cheap Linux file server. It took a little longer than the advertised 45 minutes for me, mostly because I was using the latest/greatest version of Ubuntu and on a AMD x64, so there was a php5-mcrypt problem. If you are really interested in it (I am sure you are probably not <grin>), take a look at the comments section where I posted my fix for the problem.
