I had over 20 years of experience in systems administration and user support for multiple industries from the public to private sector. I have worked in a broad range of environments from small single site locations, large datacenters to global enterprises. Primary focus of this project has been researching, testing, and installing software and hardware for PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance of the Lab and Hosting environments.

Tasks have included researching, documenting, installing, and troubleshooting Arcsight, Tripwire, and Imperva in Lab and Hosting environments. This has included working with Norcross Security Engineering teams and Hillsboro Lab and Hosting teams.

Environments have been Virtual and Physical with a variety of configurations. Systems primarily run Windows Server 2003/2008, SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, IIS, and in house developed applications. Virtual environment is hosted in a VMware ESX 3.5 with approximately 200+ guest machines that are needed to become PCI compliant. All environments run in a Windows 2003/2008 Active Directory environment using extensive Group Policy and configurations.

Working with the Lab and Hosting teams for reconfiguration of critical testing lab (Performance Lab) of each of the PCI products to ensure no harm, reliability and performance of systems stay in place while providing industry compliant security for the company. Part of this task was recreating the environment that is contained in hosting as close as possible so rollout to hosting can be the same.
