My name is Shawn Turpin (terpmeister), and I am right now a Systems Engineer in Hillsboro for a financial company, working on getting a multitude of environments PCI compliant.  I have lived in Oregon my entire life, 40 years (ack!).  I have an awesome, beautiful, and geeky wife and a funny, curious, and cool 9 year old son.

I specialize in Windows infrastructure design and implementation (MCSA with Exchange 2003 and MCTS in Windows 2008), Citrix (CCA v4.0 Presentation Server), Linux, and have start to focus more and more on virtualization solutions the last few of years, obtaining my VCP in vSphere 4.0. I also like to blog about whatever my current mobile phone is (right now the iPhone 3G).  One of my hobbies is doing digital art work in Photoshop and GIMP, and have my own section up on deviantART.

This blog started around 2005, but I had no real direction with it.  I slowly started to post blog entries about work related thing, photos, and some of my deviantART stuff.  Now I am using redmutt.com more for personal notes, tech articles that I feel like writing.  I have also got the Twitter bug and really enjoy using it.  I am always checking out Twitter via the web, and my iPhone (right now using Tweetie2).
